Shree is the design director and founder of SLS Designs and brings with him 16years of professional experience in Landscape and Architecture. Shree is a Registered Architect in India (COA, India) and has worked as a project architect on various small and large architectural projects in India. He moved to Melbourne to pursue his Masters in Landscape Architecture at RMIT University (area of research ‘Riverfront Development’).

After completing his masters, Shree moved back to India to set up his own practice ‘Shri’ Architects and Landscape Architects with his wife Leenata (Registered Architect with COA, India). Shree eventually moved back to Australia, but not before exploring and undertaking works in southeast asian region and China. During this period his major focus was to deliver high end design outcomes for large residential, mixed use and commercial development. He lead a team of 2 technicians to produce some outstanding designs project. Shree continued to work as project landscape architect and joined Gamble Mckinnon Green a Brisbane based practice focused on delivering high end landscape and urban design projects within South East Queensland region. There he ran a team 3 landscape architects delivered some very successful projects. Shree was also involved in the design and documentation of award winning Australian show garden at Chelsea flower show 2013 with Phillip Johnson Landscapes and Flemming’s nursery.

He is passionate about increasing the ecological, economic and social benefits achieved by designing engaging and exciting relationships between buildings, landscapes and users. He is particularly interested in creating design solutions which act to unify buildings and landscapes, combining, merging and marrying the internal functions and the external functions. His designs are user focused, innovative, site specific and underpinned with considerable knowledge of the local plant species, climatic conditions and lifestyle requirements

During his exploration into landscape and urban design he worked with an impressive lists of consultants and clients which include Cox Rayner Architects, M3 Architecture, Cottee Parker Architects, Woods Bagot, Studio 505, Mirvac, Devine, Laing O’Rouke, John Patricks, Phillip Johnson Landscapes, APT Architecture and many more.
